Concept and Evaluation
The article describes an introduction course (Tutorium)
for students in the first semester, which has the target to give a
more detailed and transfer-oriented introduction into educational
science. The integrated orientation and introduction tutorium is based
onto the learning theories of constructivism. The main results of
evaluation: The development of competences was increasing. The usage
of academic libraries and online databases is lower as in the control
group of the students after the fourth semester. Good results got
the learning in small groups. The concept "Learning by teaching" of
the tutors has to be submitted to a careful and detailed examination..
