Staff Development - A Necessary Condition for the New Medical Curriculum
Summary
It is shown that recently established new medical curricula differ from their predecessors so radically that academic teachers cannot continue to base their teaching on their accumulated experience. What is required is substantial staff development and a model for such staff development, as developed at University College London, is described.
