A curriculum is a chronological sequence of educational experiences that
are designed to enable students to reach
a set of predetermined goals. These
educational experiences include a specification of their content and methods
of implementation, as well as periodic
assessments of students 'progress and
achievement.
The planning of the curriculum should, therefore, satisfy an agreed set of criteria that can be developed in response to
a number of searching questions. The article sets out to explore these
questions in the context of a logical, analytical approach to the design, implementation and evaluation of a
professional curriculum.
