Pleading for Extra-university Sites of Teaching and Learning during the Study: A Reflexion of Student Impressions of Excursions and Practical Work

Summary

Extra-university forms of teaching and learning constitute an essential component of practice-oriented education. The didactic concept of excursions and fieldwork must be designed to guarantee both active contributions and to provide a perception beyond cognitive knowledge. The goals of these forms of teaching are rooted in the transfer of practice and the application of theoretical patterns as well as in the experience and knowledge of future work.
