Experiences with a Comprehensive Concept of Learning at Fieldtrips
Summary
In this text, the regularly offered fieldtrips are presented, which are carried out ćin the field' and based on a comprehensive concept of learning that constitutes a systematic connection between ecology, economy and society. The preconditions, the conception, the organization as well as the performance and the experiences of the students are analyzed. The goal is to offer incentives for similar lectures and to inititate a mutual discussion of experiences. In order to properly involve the people concerned in this analysis, the fieldtrip aims at introducing the students into the process of ćunderstanding' a reality unknown to them. This is to explain why people are in the centre of interest and not infrastructural data on housing or landscape.
