Referring to Oevermann, profession is where mediation of theory and practice takes place in the modern world. Teaching profession is a mediator between the learning individual and society dependent upon competent members. The task of a teacher is to combine scientific knowledge with hermeneutic, case oriented knowhow in order to solve learning problems and to control the learning process.
