Summary
On the last day of a philosophy class about classic texts from the philosophy of education and three basic (governmental) educational guidelines which were the topic of public debate on education and have influenced German school policy in general, we made use of psycho-dramatic tools, such as day-dream techniques and role playing, as a way of bringing the authors of those texts to "life". We then confronted these authors with the idea of school being a "house of learning", as it is explained in the memoir drawn up by the Education Commission of Nordrhein-Westfalen.
