Computer Based Interactive Tutorial Systems: Do They Justify Their Costs?
Summary
Two computer based interactive tutorial systems for different goals of basic radiology were developed. These systems include text, illustrations, voice, filmscenes and a quiz. The aim of this article is to describe the planning, the design, the expediture and the difficulties creating the two projects. The discussion of the expediture to create computer based interactive tutorial systems suggests, that such teaching tools justify their costs only for a large quantity of pupils or students because the recent progress in computer technology has only a limited influence on the salaries and wages.
