The Planned Socalled Wissenschaftskolleg "Gender Studies"
Summary
A special form of studies, the socalled "Wissenschaftskolleg", is to further and intensify the courses of study and the tutorial system of postgraduate students. Up to now there is not yet an institution devoted to Women´s and Gender Studies in Austria. In accordance with certain given conditions a group of scholars has now worked out a program which could be the basis of an application to the Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung. Thereby special heed has been taken to the collaboration of different disciplines.
