Summary
It is a fact that distance teaching offers various possibilities of education or further education. In our today's society - which is learning permanently and in which the needs for knowledge is steadily increasing - the importance of open and distance teaching most certainly is still to grow. But how is one to reach the people to whom the study of a distance course is offering a true possibility to enlarge their chances on the labour market? How to improve the quality of services for potential course participants? What kind of structure is one to build to offer true chances of development to distance teaching within a region? To put a correct answer to that question we have looked into the EuroStudyCentre of Distance Teaching in West Flanders (Belgium).
