Summary
In his interview van Seventer outlines the historical development as well as the current situation of a EuroStudyCentre concept, stressing the importance of the European Open University for the future United Europe. He summarizes the most outstanding priorities regarding the building of a EuroStudyCentre network in five points, describes the influence of a EuroStudyCentre concept on Central Europe and the former Communist countries of Eastern Europe, points out possible dangers and stumbling-blocks, and finally expresses his personal vision of a ESC concept.
